Good morning all! Such good advice comes through this board. I need your help now though. Called to check on my flights thru expedia.com. They say there is a change on the return JFK to DTW(detroit). My flight (Delta) leaves SJU at 11:21am arrives JFK at 3:15pm Terminal 2. My next flight (NW AIR) leaves JFK now at 4:11pm Terminal 4. I told the gal at expedia that I didn't think that was enough time to get from one to the other even if I pushed it. She said that the gal from Delta says that I should only need 45 minutes max to make the connection.

I don't know. Never been to JFK. Told her I never could do it at Ohare. Specially after a month long trip - what about checked baggage? Does it arrive automatically in Detroit? LOL Yeah right!!!
Need some advice here guys & gals - Do I opt for a different schedule? Tickets have been purchased already. I would assume I should NOT have to pay to have the schedule changed?

What about customs coming back from SJU? Do I need to do anything? How much time does that take?

Help me out as quick (island time?) as you can please!

Thanks to you all in advance.

Linda from Michigan

Typically Delta flies thru Atlanta, not New York. Can you get back with Expedia and see if they can route you that way, instead of thru SJU and JFK?

You deal with US customs before you leave STT so that is not something you will need to worry about in JFK.
