I just recently found this forum and am impressed with its wealth of information on St John. My question is whether or not it makes any difference which of the agencies I rent a jeep from on St John. All seem about equal with the same restrictions, e.g. leave the top on, clean out the sand, etc. Some seem easier to rent via the internet than others.
Is this true? Also, will be going in Oct, how far ahead should I rent?
Clay, Everyone has their own favorite. We personally use St. John Car Rental. The vehicles are newer than some other agencies we've used in the past, the service is very friendly, and you can park in their lot when you rent from them, thus avoiding driving around Cruz Bay for a half hour trying to find a spot!
If you are all booked for October and know your dates, it's never too early to book a jeep. We booked ours in January for this week. (AHHHHH, this week!!!!! It's finally here!)
