A few of us have discovered we will be in STT on Thursday, 1/14.

Anyone interested in meeting up for some quick introductions and island stories?

Suggestions for time and place are welcome!!!

haraka01 and 53jmoon,

Great if you will be able to meet up with the rest of us. I think that the plan is to check with the hostess and then find our way to the bar and she can point everyone out. Does that sound like a plan to everyone? I think at that point we can figure out how large of a table we should get.

Good morning.
IAMolly, thank you - looking forward to meeting some new people, but
I was so looking forward to meeting Pamela for the 1st time with "a hat with VINOW sign."
Will check with the hostess upon arrival - at MM.
Have a great Sunday -

Popular day for departure. We're in the park-n-fly motel waiting to get out of the icebox and into the sun. If only I didn't have to wake up in the middle of the night lol.

Sapphire, boy do I read you loud and clear. Usually we leave Dubuque, IA around 1:00 AM and make the 3 hour trip into O'Hare to check in for the 6:00AM flight and arrive in STT late afternoon totally exhausted. This time we are taking it easy and cashing in some airline miles. We fly out of Dubuque at noon for the 30 minute flight to Chicago and then to San Juan to spend the night. We will be taking the 19 minute flight over to STT refreshed on Thursday morning. Can you believe the heat wave in the midwest right now, 28 degrees!

See everyone soon!

There were about 10 of us. A good time was had by all. I'm glad my husband is the sober sort; couldn't have driven myself home.

Wonderful time! Great to meet everyone! Wish there was a way to send direct messages on here....drat!

I'm wondering if our friends made it to The Baths with the rainy weather today.

Hey, Sapph! Ya coulda fooled me. You appeared totally in control! Glad everyone got home safe and sound.

I wish! Not on island every Thursday. This Thursday hubby & I will be going to Duffy's for Caribbean lobster - so yummy.

hello everyone
Hope all of you have a great visit to STT and hope that the rain will stop long enough
to see the beautiful sights!
We enjoyed our stay, though it rained for 5 days.
Visited some great restaurants, drove the island and shopped,
It was still better than a bad day in Atlanta.
Hope we can all stay in touch, we enjoyed meeting you all and we loved Sapphire Beach.
Maybe somebody there can help us find a property there!.
Have a safe trip home;

Jennifer and Gregg Haraka

Hi, Jennifer! Glad to see you posting. We were wondering how your trip went.

Keep in touch. Perhaps we can do the "same time next year" routine.

Be well!!
