A few of us have discovered we will be in STT on Thursday, 1/14.

Anyone interested in meeting up for some quick introductions and island stories?

Suggestions for time and place are welcome!!!

My husband Jon and myself would love to join up with the group not sure our 2 kid's traveling with us will want to go or hang out with there island friends. Molly Malone's or anywhere in Red Hook sounds good to me, my time is also flexible.

Looking forward to meeting you and everyone else that can join us.

I can't wait to get out of this cold weather!

See you soon!

Molly

Dennis & I are in. Just give us the time & place. Like Molly, we've never had a bad meal in Red Hook so anywhere is fine with us.

Don't forget to wear something which identifies you to each other. Our last attempt at a get together found most people in the same place but no one recognized each other! LOL.

Should we reserve a table in someone's name?

Nah, someone should wear a hat with a HUGE VINOW sign on it. That's all you need!

I vote that you wear it! It probably wouldn't be a bad idea to have a sign though. I say that when we get there we check in with the hostess and she can guide the next group to the other guests waiting at the bar.

Would 6:00 at Molly M.'s work for you guys? Is that too early? I was thinking we might find it less crowded at that time.

pamela - Snow is something which, for a portion of the calendar year, attacks various human appendages and causes them to disengage from the body. These parts are collected by brave villagers who then store them in pails set out in the middle of lakes and ponds.

Before the total spring thaw, locals try to identify the parts in order to reattach them. Personal identification can be a challenge for some as this is a public ceremony. Photographic proof is sometimes necessary.

Days upon days of snow and cold also cause some people to begin the lose all rational thought process. One of the symptoms is posting nonsense messages on Internet boards. Spending lengths of time in the USVI seem to abate these symptoms.

Yep, Illinois here. 19 degrees and it's been snowing since yesterday with no sign of stopping. In my mind, on beautiful Sapphire Beach with a frosty painkiller in hand.

We'll be at Sapphire. You'll love it, it's gorgeous. You were lucky to find a rental at Sapphire that week. It's the owner's meeting on Saturday and a lot of the owners are coming down and staying in their units. See you there.

Good morning!!
Papa Tom said he will try to make it and I will try to do the same.
There might be couple more - I will ask.
We just show up, right?
Looking forward to the gathering.
