About 7 months ago a guy from some publication sends me an email and says he's doing articles on Mocko Jumbies and could he use the photos he saw on pbase. Said you get them, you give me credit. Well lo and behold this is a company that puts these hard cover books into cruise cabins for lines. Carnival, Princess and Holland America have now got me published. So check them out if you're ever on board and you'll see my name next to the pictures.

Oh, and I got paid for them too. Now if I could only make a living from this.

WOW. those are pretty good pics. Make sure your agreement specified they could use those pictures as such. You should be intitled to royalties. However if you signed the rights away... next time you'll know not to!

Slotha, thanks for the words. But since this good old boy still has all of his facilities together and has a sense for income, I sign nothing away.

I am being paid for these photos.

Actually I've seen a lot better from some of the guys on pbase. They were looking for pix of the Mokie Jumbies and since I had a bunch of them from the STJ carnival, they ran with those.

I liked the name recognition in the three books but liked the check even more.

Like I said, it would be a lovely way of making a living instead of running a company. LOL
