Islander, Others:
We had to cancel our cruise in early December since one of our travel partners suffered a serious illness. However, we have non-refundable tickets to/from San Juan and thought of spending the week in STT instead. We have explored the web sites of Cape Air and Caribbean Sun and found the fares to be more expensive from SJU to STT than New Jersey to SJU. Cape Air was $450. R/T and Caribbean Air $171. R/T. Any advice for other less expensive options?
Thanks,
F.I.
Seaborne Airlines (www.seaborneairlines.com) and American (www.aa.com) are the other two airlines that fly from San Juan to St. Thomas.
Hello Future Islander,
$171 rate... I've paid that before between STT-PR during high travel times, weekends. Around $140 is more typical. I've also gone for around $99 when there were specials.
The two other airlines Dominic suggested are the ones you can try.
Let us know what you find out.

We have also flown American Airlines - give them a try. Good luck
