I am planning my vacations island hopping the USVI & BVI, what are the options and better ways to make this journey?
Thanks,
Raquel
Raquel: If you have never been, a great introduction is a crewed charter yacht. You have your own boat, captain and chef. You are catered to and sleep in a different bay each night. Snorkeling and sightseeing during the day, sleeping under the stars at night! It's a great way to see the islands, me son.
Hello Raquel,
East Ender mentioned a great option - a crewed term charter! Something like http://www.interlinesail.com or http://www.islandsymphony.com
If you want to do it on your own you could use the ferries, sea plane, inter-island airlines and/or rent a boat.
The ferry schedules are on this site - scroll to the top of this page and click on Ferry Schedules.
What did you have in mind? How long, which islands? Day-trips or overnight?

Raquel,
As a sailor whose taken many first-time visitors to the islands on island-hopping sailing trips, I'd second Ender's suggestion of chartering a crewed yacht. It's an incredible way to enjoy not only the islands but the beautiful waters surrounding them as well.
One additional suggestion, if you're not experienced boaters yourselves, you might want to charter a catamaran (as opposed to a monohull). Catamarans - or "cats" - have much more room on board, and are much more stable both while sailing and particularly while lying at anchor at night. The Moorings on Tortola has 47 and 62 foot versions available with crews, and - again important if you're not used to sleeping on boats - air conditioning!
