I'm visiting St Croix in a couple days and would like to know the least expensive way to travel to other islands. Thanks!
Hello Randa,
You can take a charter to visit and snorkel at Buck Island. To visit St. Thomas you would have to take the Seaplane or inter-island airline like Cape Air. To visit St. John or Water Island you would have to fly to St. Thomas and then take a ferry from St. Thomas to the respective island you are interested in.
Ferry schedules are available at

Which charter company do you recommend for an all day snorkel trip to Buck Island? Also can we rent a power boat on the island to explore on our own? How about jet skiis?
Thanks!
Randa
Hello Randa,
Big Beards and Mile Mark get good reviews. There are no power boat rentals on St. Croix that I know of. Jet skis you can find at Hotel on the Cay (Protestant Cay is the small cay off of the Christiansted boardwalk, the ferry takes like 1 minute, cost a couple dollars and leaves from the boardwalk in front of the Fort Christianvearn park). I saw in another post you asked about evening things to do... Hotel on the Cay has a Caribbean night on Tues. nights with entertainment/music that you could look into.
