We are moving to St.Thomas and I work remotely, regular business hours (9-5). How reliable is internet in a residence and/or are there any shared work spaces with internet for rent? Just curious if it is realistic and reliable to work full time remotely on island?
Internet service is provided by VIYA . It absolutely has speed issues but is pretty consistent depending on the speed you need. There are 25mb packages but testing my own service I have found less than 1 mb on many occasions. All related to island volume. There is VI Broadband that is more stable but your location needs to be in “Line of sight” for service. Many people do exactly what your considering on island.
