I purchased my plane tickets online from USAir so I print my own boarding passes 24 hours before flights. On the way down I can print them at home, but I will be ending my trip in Jost Van Dyke, which to my knowledge, has no internet cafes for me to use (in the past, I've stayed at Gallows Point and had no trouble printing them there in the lobby).
I should be in St. Thomas by 12 and my flight doesn't leave until 3:50, so I have time. I'd rather print them instead of arriving at the airport without them (it's possible, but I have visions of waiting in a long line to be told to go to another long line).
so....anyone know of any web cafes or someplace where I can print my boarding passes in Charlotte Amalie (or anywhere else)?
thanks,
Kim
Try Beans, Bytes & Websites on the waterfront directly behind the Waterfront Tavern. They only charge 5 cents/minute ($1 min.) and have a printer as well. My wife and I are sitting here as we speak, using their computers, sipping mochas, and enjoying a very relaxing afternoon.
Check with your airline to find out if they will allow you to check in on line in the islands. Last Nov. American didn't have on line check in on STX.
USair does allow you to check in online for STT. I do it on each trip. However, I have always needed to check bags, so I don't bother to print the paper boarding pass. I think that's the question - whether USAir on STT will let you through the gate with the paper boarding pass.
I'm interested to hear the answer on this one. Sure would make like easier!
