Family of 4 with 9 & 12 yr old children coming for snorkeling, hiking and jeep exploring vacation in April. I was pretty much settled on Estate Lindholm and thought I had it booked. Now I can't get them to respond by email and they haven't charged my credit card. Any insider info or is this just Island time? What aboout Gallows Point- how does it compare or any others with nice views near town.

I've never had personal dealings with Estate Lindholm but I've NEVER seen anything bad about them on this or any other board. If I were you, I'd hang tight for a week or two.

I made the reservarion on Dec. 26 and have emailed 2-3 times since. I don't mind waiting if this place is as special as I have read. ( and relatively affordable). Just thought I should be looking at some backup options. I'm locked in with the dates and plane tickets now.

I understand your concern. Why don't you give them a call - 340-776-6121. Sometimes out internet connections in the VI leave a little to be desired. Good Luck.

Just to clear the record, we heard from Lauren and all is well. They were busy catching up after some time off over the holidays. We are looking forward to our stay at Estate Lindholm after reading so many good things about the property and the management.
