*I will be visiting St. Thomas by cruise ship. I was wondering whether or not the taxis have seat belts for my infants car seat. I am bringing one and would like to visit Megan's Bay which would involve a taxi ride. Is it a requirment by law?

Hello Barbara,

Yes seat belts and car seats are the law here. There are different types of taxis - the safari buses will not work for you. A van or taxi car will have seat belts, you will need to ask the drivers.

thanx for the info - I've been to St. Thomas many times tho sans children. Couldn't remember about the seat belts!
