We will be intown for a short trip, just trying to see who would like to get together and where. I' a condo owner, but would like to meet vacationers as well, I know the island. Sappire and Lip, do we have a location yet? Any newcomers want to travel and meet locals? Give us a call.

Toad N Tart was fine for me, but Lip doesn't like the beer selection. I'm easy, just so the food is good.

Merry Christmas! Old Tart popping in here at the beginning of her most well-deserved first scheduled time out in three years.

If lip has this "thing" about Miller Lite not being available then so be it but lip has obviously never been to The Toad and Tart if he thinks STT Resident is a male and thus has no idea what else we offer besides Miller Lite. Oh cheese and bread, too much drama here for true. I'm taking a week off right now and starting to enjoy it.

Whatever! If you all decide on The Toad and Tart and your party gets to six or over, please make a reservation. I'm always very well prepped and organized but my "team" comprises just me and my bartender//server. Whatever/wherever you decide upon for your meeting place, enjoy your visit. Cheers and seasons greetings!

Lip I think that it's up to you at this point, I don't have the 411 on what bars serve Miller Lite. I always have dinner at the Toad and Tart when I am in town so that I can visit with STT, she is such a delight and her cooking is great, so we'll be stopping by to see her regardless. Lip what do you have in mind? I think that most of us are on the East End, but I'm willing to meet up anywhere, preferably casual because I'm only bringing a carry-on weekend bag and don't want to take up any precious space for a dress and heels.

We can always meet up for a drink at Duffy's and take a vote. Saturday or Sunday works best for me.

Bob, I hope that I can get a chance to meet you and your wife, hopefully we'll have a place picked out soon.

Another midwestern snowstorm, I need a good dose of sun and sand soon, can't wait to get back!

Great, let's meet at the Toad and Tart! I'm only in town for 4 nights so Saturday the 17th or Sunday the 18th works bst for me, do any of those dates work for you guys?

Lip, if you want we can start with a few shots, it'll numb your tastebuds.

STT, we will probably need to make a reservation once we set the date, Jon and I will be traveling with Cole and Josie so we are a party of 4 already. I'll be checking with our tennants to see if they want to join us as well as a few of my other island friends.

Merry Christmas to all and thanks for brightening up my cold wintry day,

Molly

Now Molly, don't be suggesting starting off with shots again - don't you remember how we had to hog tie you in the parking lot last time?

We have nothing but free time this visit so whatever works for the group just let us know. We'll be there. It'll be nice to meet everyone.

Pinch me, I'm Irish! If I've learned anything about enjoying the islands is not to waste the night away with too many drinks, I'm going for the fun and the sun and don't need a hangover to get in the way. Of course I'll have a few glasses of wine and toast to meeting new friends and seeing some old ones. STT, no worries, you can keep the straight jacket packed away for now.

Fortunately I have a condo in STT, unfortunately I am burried under a foot of snow in Iowa while I rent out our condo until we are ready for our big move which is still a few years away.

My plan is much like Molly's. Only difference I can see is that the snow I'm buried in is Illinois snow.

Well it looks like we all have a lot in common to talk about. At least we all had the ambition to go for it, who would have known that the economy would have turned like it did? I for one thought that I was going for the long term sensible plan, now I feel like riding by the seat of my pants and moving on down just like so many other folks do. So what's the verdict, Toad and Tart on Saturday the 17th? I would be honored to meet all of you.
