Want to go to Aggies one night. I can see they have a carnival night and then regular dining too. Should we go on the carnival night? Thanks!

Unless things have changed recently, the general consensus seems to be that the Carnival night is very entertaining but that the Caribbean buffet served on that night isn't very good and is overly priced. But that's no problem - you don't have to have the buffet but can just go for the show!

http://www.iggiesbeachbar.com/

Here is the link for their restaurant/bar.

Tuesday night is all you can eat (AYCE) crab night. $42 per person. If you can eat a lot of crab legs it is worth it. (Sometimes the cook has a heavy hand with the seasoning and it gets on the salty side)
The sides are rice & peas, cornbread with honey butter, corn-on-the-cob (mini-ear).
Serving time is 6pm to 10pm.
Happy hour ends at 6pm.
I would call to verify if they still offer AYCE crab nite & the entertainment. They wanted to do away with it.

That's confusing :S
Because I called them just this past Monday or Tuesday (March 12th or 13th) and asked them if they still have AYCE crab night and the male worker, who I believe is the manager, I spoke to said "Yes" and then I asked how much per person and he said "$42.00."

I'm going to look into this.
I did look up the ad. It was in the paper on March 8th.

It says:

"We're sorry due to the market price of crab going through the roof we have to suspend AYCE Crab.

We will however be selling delicious Crab Steam Pots with prices starting at $30

So that we can continue to offer crab to our customers we are going to have "Crazy Crab" Tuesdays
Every second (2nd) Tuesday of each month starting on 3/13/12. We'll be selling 2 LBS of the best crab available at the best price!"

Maybe there was a miscommunication between who I spoke to and myself. I need to be more clear with my questions when I do a follow-up call.

We were at Iggies very recently and they still had the AYCE Crab dinner. We didn't get it, but other tables did for sure! Service can be painfully slow and not the best.
