Put on a bathing suit and wrap, pack the cooler and snorkel gear and head to the beach, any beach.

Is that before or after blowing out your flip-flops and tripping on a pop-tart? (tu)

I believe he stepped on a "POP-TOP", which older folks will remember as the removable top of a beer/soda can. Very sharp and dangerous, especially if swallowed.

Linda J,

Too funny, I always thought that it was a pop-tart, pop-top does make a lot more sense. I'm old enough to remember the old pop-tops, we used to collect them and make chains out of them.

That's funny Molly I thought you were making a joke!
While we are on the subject....
it's revved up like a deuce.

This could be a whole other thread....
things we think they are saying in songs.

Do you remember the Cheryl Crow song "All I want to do is have some fun", my daughter thought that they were saying "All I want to do is Hooked on Phonics". It fits perfectly and when ever the song comes on we sing it our way.

"Love in an elevator". For the longest time my wife thought the song was about loving a latin girl (Luv'n Ella Vitta) from South America (going down). My kids really gave her grief for that one and still do every time it comes on.

Maybe that's what confused Governor Sanford?

Rent a jeep head for the ferry and off to STJ, then to Skinny Legs because by the time my plane landed from Chicago it would be close to nightfall before I got to STJ. Then have a Painkiller and a good oh soo good skinny legs burger, and just hang out!!! AH can't wait till March!

Are you referring to the former Ashley's where the taxi drivers hung out and they had the best conch pates ever? Change has a-come and it's now been retrofitted. Nothing like it used to be. I haven't been there but they've been running all sorts of ads ... anybody been there who remembers the old spot and can comment?

Buy a few groceries including wine and head for the small deck off our tentcabin at Concordia and chill there for a bit with some wine and snacks. Can't beat the view and the wind. Oh wait, we ARE going back in SEVEN weeks and this is exactly what we're going to do.:@)

First, I got to get where the boat leaves from....Put my toes in the sand...then get in the warm clear water, and see the beautiful undersea beauty of the islands while snorkeling with my hubby! Then...put our ----------- in the sand and enjoy a painkiller or bushwhacker together! Ahhh! just to relax ..not a worry in sight..
Life is good today!!!!! Or soon will be !
I see we have some ZBB fans(Zac Brown Band) out here on the vinow site-just saw them the other night! Great show!

Don't know what it's called, but yes, I believe it's where the taxi drivers hang out. Was just there last May 2009, had a really good spicy chicken pate . . .mmmm. . . no complaints here!

Liezl - The place above the airport parking lot is called Atlantic Seafood.

STT Resident - it has been 2+ years since Atlantic Seafood took over Ashley's. They have good local food, you need to get there and give it a try. Hopefully their conch pate will be as good as the ones you remember from Ashley's!
