What would you use for bug spray? Just assume the person using it can't wear DEET and gets eaten alive by noseeums and other flying pests.
Thank you!
You can try citronella oil which can be found in health food stores.
Some people have used Avon's skin so soft as repellent.
There are as many sworn-by repellents as there are Carter's Little Liver Pills from those which Alana has mentioned to large doses of Vitamin B-12, consumption of garlic and garlic pills. topical baby oil and dozens of others - some of which may work for some people but none of which work for everyone! Products containing Deet are most effective and all I can suggest to someone who may be allergic to Deet is to consult a physician or allergist.
I've been trying out TheraNeem Naturals, Herbal Outdoor Spray. Picked it up at the Natural Food Store. It works pretty good. I have noticed that if there is a spot missed when applying the stuff the bugs seem to find it. With Off and Deet products, even if there is a spot missed the bugs seem to stay away.
I keep Off in almost every room in the house, tho don't often need it.
Hate the little buggers that bite my only hand sticking ou from under the covers in the middle of the night!
