*Hi,
Please let me know what are the proper documents need to travel to and from St. Thomas if you are a resident alien of the USA
You can check with the local US Immigration and Naturalization Service office and ask them exactly what they will require (340) 774-4279. I think non US citizens but permanent residents need to show their certificate of alien registration (green card) to leave territory.
Hi there,
I currently live on STJ and am a "resident alien" (although I took my citizenship test back in April and passed 🙂 but since moving here my paperwork appears to have gotten lost - but that's another story 🙂 ) anyway when leaving at the STT airport to travel back to the US I have to show my green card and current passport. Hope that helps.
I need to know if I need a passport to travel to St Thomas in the Virgin Islands this March 2006? Thanks
Amy, you don't need a passport. You need a BC with raised seal and a US ID.
