My husband and I are traveling to St. John in the beginning of October. Given the hurricane season to date, I am a little concerned we may encounter one while there. Can anyone give me information as to what the procedure is if you are staying at a hotel and a hurricane comes through?
Thanks

I am sure specific procedures depend upon the hotel and it is best to verify that with them. Usually, the bigger chains will want to move you out for insurance reasons.
Either way, get travel insurance to protect your investment.

Oddly enough, if you aren't asked to leave the hotel, many of the villa people will be checked in too, for their safety!
