I don't know squat about real estate here at home, much less in the Virgin Islands. But $3 million for 2 acres of waterfront property with a beach near Charlotte Amalie sounds like a good price. I notice they don't say much about the buildings...conditions must be pretty bad. Still, the 2 acres of land might be worth the price even if the buildings are falling apart.
I wish I had an extra $3 million lying around.
Well, it's really not near Charlotte Amalie. In fact, Hull Bay is on the north shore of the island while Charlotte Amalie is on the south side, with Crown Mountain in between.
I guess "nearby" is all relative though.
When I was there in July, it was not in bad condition. Granted, it needed some work but compared to some properties down there it was good. Very open. Bathrooms definately needed to be updated.
