Greetings!
I was wondering how much to tip the boat captain on a private charter to BVI's. As I understand , we take care of the captain as far as drinks and lunch ....just wondering what others have tipped. Any insight much appreciated. Thank you!

15% to 20% of the total cost of the charter (less fuel if that is not included) is the "norm"

Generally, the captain's meal is "complimentary" at the restaurant they take you to for lunch. Always ask, but generally you don't need to pay for it - the restaurant does that as thanks for bringing your party there.
