We will be landing at 11:30am on Sat april 5. How long will it take to get to Sapphire beach? Also is it possible to get the cabby to stop at grocery store on our way to the condo? Will they wait for us to shop or is it better to get settled then head out for groceries?
The ride is about 20-25 minutes and, unless you book a private taxi, the driver won't stop for a shopping trip as the vans carry several passengers all going to different places. Getting around without a rental car really limits you but you can taxi from Sapphire to the supermarket for between $6-$7 per person depending which you head out to and, rather than paying "standing time" just get dropped off and ask one of the supermarket baggers to get you a taxi back.
