Winter is here.......it's 75 degrees and clear skies here in South Texas with North wind about 10 mph... time to break out the winter wind breaker!

Madison, CT. 26 this morning but it has warmed up to 48 at this time. Cold, wind and rain forecast for this evening and tomorrow. Live a couple of miles from Long Island Sound but can't see it. It doesn't matter though because it's disappointing after you've seen the blue of the VI waters. My lucky husband heads down to STJ on Wed. to do some work on our boat. I'm jealous but then again he'll be jealous when I head down in early Dec. We do travel together most of the time but I'm not up for boat repairs.

It's November 2, rain is falling here in NH, and it's 38 degrees outside. Snow is falling up north in the White Mountains. My feet are wet, and not with the turquoise waters and sand. I'm St John dreaming while I sit here at work, waiting for 5 pm ( It's now 8 am.) Jan 21st can't come soon enough! Looking forward to sun and surf, snorkeling and cocktails on the deck!
