I will be in San Juan this February. A friend will be staying on St. John at the Westin, and I am trying to find the cheapest and easiest (if that even exists!!) way to possibly get to St. Thomas/St. John for a visit for a day or two. Any suggestions???

Cathy: At the top of this page is a link which says "getting here" which will give you all the information and links to airlines operating from both the US mainland to the USVI and from PR to the USVI. Check out all that info and then either start calling the airlines (or go online) to find your best deal from PR to STT.
Then go to "ferry schedules" at the top of this page. There is regular ferry service to STJ from STT from downtown Charlotte Amalie (waterfront) which is only a short taxi ride from the airport.
From the STJ ferry dock in Cruz Bay you will have to taxi to the Westin and that won't be a problem at all. If your friend has a rental vehicle while here then he or she can pick you up at the ferry dock on STJ, of course.
