How come the VI doesn't schedule in any cruise ships at the height of Carnival (i.e., the parade days)?
How come the bridge in Bovoni goes to and from nowhere?

Not sure if this is true or not (you know how rumors go!), but I heard that the Army Corps of Engineers agreed to build the Bridge to Nowhere on the condition that the VI Government finish the connection to the road. Apparently, the road was washing out in heavy rains. Who knows if this is true.... but it's an interesting theory!
PROBABLY JUST LIKE IT IS IN THE STATES,USE IT OR LOSE IT MONEY THAT WONT BE GIVEN IN THE NEXT BUDGET IF IT ISNT SHOWN TO BE NEEDED.i ALWAYS HEARD SOME POLITICIAN SPEND SOME TO BUILD IT AND FIGURED OUT HOW TO POCKETED THE REST. MAYBE THINGS ARE THE SAME EVERYWHERE?

Not sure why no ships were in port this year for the parades on St. Thomas but in the past there have been ships on parade days.
