We have it narrowed down to three hotels
Bolongo Bay Beach
Secret Harbor
Sapphire Beach
In that order.....have read the reviews...any advise is nice...think the reviews are phoney? ....hugh opinion variations...anyone know anything about Beachdestination.com website? Has anyone used them to book a room? They were cheaper than the hotel direct and cheaper than Expedia....

Hi Missouri - The best beach, my opinion, is Sapphire. I guess it depends on what you're looking to do. If you're looking to stay on the resort, sit back on the beach, and consume tropical drinks all day - - then the all-inclusive plan is certainly for you. I think Bolongo is the only one that has this option. I'm sure others will provide a better opinion as I have not stayed at any of these resorts.

As for the internet booking, I have checked beachdestinations many times. I personally have much better luck (pricing) on www.cheapcaribbean.com.

For me, if I were to choose, they would be in this order:

1. Secret Harbor
2. Sapphire Beach Resort & Marina (not Sapphire Village)
3. Bolongo Bay Beach Resort

But this is for ME> Someone else may have different likes/desires. Ex.- A younger crowd (20's, single) would probably rate them exactly backwards from me (37, married). All 3 are nice. But, IMHO, SH is the best of the 3.
