My husband and I are flying in to St Thomas on Aug 9Th. We will only be there one night ( chartering a cat out of Tortola). He wants to hang out around the Red Hook Marina. Stayed at Secret Harbor two years ago and loved it, but would like to be some where we could walk to and from Marina.

You could try Pavillion and Pools or Sapphire

i agree with kmabbott,

but it can be a bit of a hike for someone reasonably fit without a lot to carry over a couple or rolling hills, along the highway with very little shoulder.

i'd add sugar bay as well.

it is certainly possible, but not for everyone.

You could also check Two Sandals By The Sea:

www.twosandals.com

I'm not personally familiar with it but it's in Nazareth, close to Secret Harbour and a walkable distance to Red Hook.

Thanks so much for your suggestions! Love to be able to walk it and the road from Secret Harbor ( as much as we loved the place and the people) was not pedestrian friendly.

Two Sandals would be the closest to Red Hook and the taxi fare from there would only be about $4pp so it might be worth it.

Two Sandals is on the same road as Secret Harbor. Not many pedestrian friendly roads anywhere on the island.

Just take a cab. They are part of St Thomas' charm! 😉
