No such "luck" on St John, the beaches are too narrow, (not long and open like the New England seacoast anyway) and many have no decent access to get horses too. Don't know about the other islands.

Hi,

Here is a link to Carolina Corral on St. John. Contact them regarding horse riding while on STJ.

Please check any beach you ride on carefully. Most of our beaches in the Virgin Islands are sea turtle nesting beaches. As all three brands of sea turtles who nest here are endangered (Leatherback, Green, and Hawksbill), we are very protective of them. Most, but not all, of the nesting beaches are marked as such with signs that prohibit dogs, fires and horses. Thanks in advance for your consideration of our sea critters.

thanks, I would of never though of that as being a reason for not allowing dogs, fires or horses!
