All,

Any reviews of the Horseback riding offered in St John ? We are going In April and have not seen any real positives on the standard travel sites.

Thanks

Hi wessan, we're big Carolina Corral fans. Dana is very good with her guests and her horses. She does a ride up the Johnny Horn Trail that gives great down-island views. There's usually a morning and an afternoon ride. Her horses run the gamut and include a big thoroughbred (Ivan), some gentler trail horses and some ponies. She does a good job of matching riders with horses. My oldest daughter was thrilled to ride Ivan last March; he is a very big and very fast horse, but well behaved.

You can call Dana to make a reservation at 340-693-5778. She usually calls back at the end of the day.

She provides helmets, but bring at least sneakers - my daughters bring their riding boots. Her corral is down the first dirt road on the right as you pass Skinny Legs in Coral Bay going east. I usually drop my girls off and snorkel Haulover Bay while they ride.

Cheers, RickG
