*I will be heading to St. Thomas for April vacation aboard the Explorer of the Seas. We have a stop in St. Thomas for one day which I would like to go to St. Johns. One activity I would like to do is horseback riding. Any suggestions and info would be appreciated. Thanks
Hello Kathy,
There is no horseback riding excursions on St. Thomas. On St. John there is Carolina Corral in Coral Bay that offers horseback excursions.

Hi There,
I did not think that there was any horseback riding on STT since Half Moon Stables shut down a few years ago. I was recently informed that I was mistaken. I am told (do not have personal experience) that there is a stable on the same sight as the old Half Moon Stables next to the St. Thomas Dairy. They supposedly only give lessons and don’t offer casual riding. I am also told that there is a stable in Smith Bay that does offer some riding options. I was told that one could call Carol at 690-3896 to inquire. Again, I have not personally tried either.
Good Luck
Schultz
Hello Schultz,
Yes thats right when Half Moon Stables closed the facility remained open to some degree for personal lessons and summer camps only (I beleive with a different owner). I am not familiar with the one in Smith Bay.
