I AM SO EXCITED TO BE HONEYMOONING IN PARADISE!! I AM OVERWHELMED WITH INFORMATION.

I WOULD LOVE SOME HOTEL SUGGESTIONS. THERE ARE JUST SO MANY - I DONT KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN.

THANKS

Jen: Take a deep breath and relax! We are here to help you. Okay, you want "cozy", hotel, spa, room service...am I correct so far?

Now there are a couple of small problems with your dates. The Ritz is closed and I believe Morningstar too. So the fancier hotels are going to be out. Frenchman's Reef and Wyndham Sugar Bay have spas and room service, although the Reef is probably the better of the two.

September is very quiet around here, so some restaurants will be closed. Lots of the properties use September to do their big projects.

And I have to mention trip insurance. While September is usually beautiful weather, September 10th is the peak of the hurricane season.

I don't think you can go wrong with any island. I've been to St. Thomas and St. John. Both beautiful, but depending on what you like to do, very different. St. Thomas has more in the way of shopping and sites, while St. John is relaxed and more "natural" IMO. But, since they are so close, you can do both! I know nothing of St. Croix, but would love to go sometime.

Have fun planning your honeymoon!

Jen: For mid-September you are going to be limited to resorts that are open. On St John you can check Caneel (very pricy but beautiful) and the Westin. If you are willing to give up the spa and room service you could go for a condo like Sapphire, Secret Harbour or on St John, Gallows Point. If you are trying to live within a budget, Bolongo or even one of the timeshare places like the Elysian (and it has a small spa) might be choices.

Jeniffer,

If your more interested in exploring the islands that I would suggest resorts like, Bolong, Sapphire, Secret Harbour, Elysian on St. Thomas as EE suggested. We figure the room is someplace to keep our cloths and sleep, the rest of the time we're out and about. IMHO I'd save money on the room and have more money to "play" with. Plenty of options...don't stress.

I have to agree with this. You're going to paradise to spend time in paradise..otherwise, you could just stay in a fancy hotel in your home town. 😉 Heck, I'd sleep on a lawn chair to be able to go back. LOL

Jennifer:

Take a look at Point Pleasant Resort (www.pointpleasantresort.com).

The suites (condos) are very nice, excellent East End location and have an incredible view. Also.....Attractive prices.

Try a Superior Suite on the the top of the hill.
