I'm arriving on a cruise for a 1 day stop in St. Thomas. I'd like to go to honeymoon beach - is it really peaceful/beautiful? Are the ferries reliable?

Honeymoon on Water Island is quite nice. On weekdays its usually empty except when the Kon Tiki pulls in for a couple hours in the afternoon or when the Bike Tour stops by for a little bit. Pirates Ridge is good for a light lunch, its just a short walk up a path/steps from the beach. The ferry is realiable.

Water Island Ferry schedule from my trip in January - taken from the little card I got from the Captain. The Ferry is very dependable since residents on WI depend on it. The schedule may be/usually is modified during off-season.
