I have been checking out Estate Lindholm on St John and have a few questions....mainly, it says that it is a short downward hike to Honeymoon Beach. How short is short?? Also, is anyone aware of the size of the pool area? We dined at Asolare a few years ago and loved it....is this where the B & B is located?
Any other good suggestions about B & Bs or a villa very close to (or directly on) a beach would be great. This tool is so very helpful - you have no idea. Thanks!
I've not stayed at Estate Lindholm, but yes, it is right where Asolare is. In terms of the walk to Honeymoon, remember that you'll have to walk back up the hill afterwards! There aren't many places right on the beach on St. John, most villas are up in the hills for the views. Caneel Bay Resort and the Gibney Beach Cottages are right on the water, with beautiful beaches, but they are expensive. The Westin is on the water too, but the Westin's beach isn't very nice.
Hey Bert E-Mail jmq his post (for the time being) is right below this one. or click here https://www.vinow.com/wwwtalk/read.php?4,34421,34421#msg-34421 it appears he stayed at estate lindholm.
Also here is a review from another web site. Go there and there are four more reviews.

Yup Bert Wes is correct - its all there in part 1 of my trip reports.
I also cut and pasted the Estate Lindholm stuff into a review on tripAdvisor.com with photos so look for it there.
Ironically, we didnt get to Honeymoon - the beach closest to Estate Lindholm - so I cant detail what the walk might be like.
I am staying at Estate Lindholm from 5/28 - 6/2.
jmg's review is full of great advice,... and great quotes.
If you come across any good info, please e-mail me. We've decided to take a daysail w/ the White Wing, thanks to jmg.
