I am moving to the islands next year and was wondering whether there is a Honda dealership on St. Thomas that could service a 2000 Honda CRV 4 X 4. I am hesitant to bring that car to the islands if there is no dealership in St. Thomas to service it. I had the same question about Mitsubishi dealerships in St. Thomas. My internet research suggests to me that neither of these manufacturers has a dealership on St. Thomas.

Why not sell it in the States, and buy a vehicle when you get here? You'll save lots of time, money and frustrations, and you won't be adding to the over-population of cars on STT. There, that was short, wasn't it? 🙂

I had considered purchasing a car on island and actually checked with a dealership to determine if the new car I wanted (a PT Cruiser) is available. It was not.
That said, it seems to me that whether I bring a car with me or whether I purchase a car on island (that is shipped in from the mainland), I will, in either case, be adding to the island population of cars.
