Does anyone have a list of USVI Government Holidays for 2008? I found this list for 2007, http://www.here.vi/Wedding/Holidays/holidays.html and I was wondering if someone could update it. Are the holiday dates the same on STX and STT and STJ?
Thanks.
2008:
January 1 - New Years Day
January 6 - Three Kings Day
January 21 - Martin Luther King's Birthday
February 18 - Presidents Day
March 31 - Transfer Day
March 20 - Holy Thursday
March 21 - Good Friday
March 23 - Easter
March 24 - Easter Monday
May 26 - Memorial Day
June 16 - Organic Act Day
July 3 - V.l. Emancipation Day
July 4 - Independence Day
July 28 - Supplication Day
September 1 - Labor Day
October 13 - Columbus Day & Puerto Rico-USVI Friendship Day
October 20 - Hurricane Thanksgiving Day
November 1 - Liberty Day or D. Hamilton Jackson Day
November 11 - Veterans Day
November 27 - Thanksgiving
December 25 - Christmas
December 26 - Christmas 2nd Day
Yes they are observed on each island. In some cases there is bigger celebration for a particular holiday on one island. For example there is a large group of residents with ties to Puerto Rico on St. Croix so the USVI-Puerto Rico friendship day has more things happening for that on St. Croix.

Thanks very much. I'll know what to watch out for this year.
