From the pictures I've seen from the beach it appears that it would be a fairly short hike from Concordia to the beacj at Salt Pond Bay, but everything that I've read here says that it is a drive and then a 5 minute walk in...What's the deal?
Concordia is fairly close to the beach as the crow flies, but there is no path between the resort and the beach (at least there wasn't when we stayed there). In order to get to the beach, you have to go via the access road to the main road (~1 mile total). Given that, you're better off driving. Concordia is a "geen" resort, so walking anywhere but on the desginated walkways is discouraged - probably why there is no path.
