I'm planning a wedding in St. Thomas and was looking at having the wedding dinner at Herve. Has anyone been there, and if so can you give me some feedback on how the food, view, and service is?

It used to be marvelous with great views but this was a few years ago. Surprisingly no one seems to mention it anymore and I've often wondered why. We stopped going there only because they kept the floor to ceiling windows closed using a/c rather than opening them. I do recall that they had an extensive wine list too. Hopefully someone will chime in ... would love to have an update too!

Never been to Herve, but I would highly recommend Oceania in Frenchtown (near CA). It is a very romantic restaurant with great views of the harbor, good food and a wonderful wine list.

Oceana is a much better choice - I agree with landlocked beach lover. Great views and even better food. You should give them a call

By the way, if you decide not to go to Herve, Banana Tree Grille is INCREDIBLE and they have LOTS of wedding dinners. Seems like every time we are there, they are having one.
