I thought I had book a private daysail on the boat Scubadu on July 27, 2005 for my husband's birthday(46). However, I emailed the other day and go no response, so this morning I called to reconfirm, but was told by Joe the Captain that it was booked to someone else. I am very upset and will have to deal with that situation I guesss when I get on island. But my main concern now is finding another boat to surprise my husband with. I want a boat to take us to Jost Van Dyke(Foxy's and Solly Dollar Bar), but prior to the "bar tour", snorkeling. Does anyone have any suggestions? Please help. Thanks.

Just called Capt. Ron on Alaunt. They are available for that day and awaiting your call - 340-771-8044. If you need more help, call me at 340-774-3944 and I can give you a list of boats.

Try the WhiteWing. I had problems getting Scubadu to return my call and emails also. I booked a daysail to Tortola and we stopped at the Cave and the Indians. We had a great time and Captain Clark is really cool. He mentioned he was taking the boat to South America soon to avoid the hurricanes and to have some maintenace done so I'm not sure he's still in St John. If he is...he is well worth checking out!!!! Here's his contact info.....

I can highly recommend Capt. Bob and his sailboat Spree. Very accommodating, AND very reasonable. They sail out of Cruz Bay.
340) 771-3734. Have a wonderful time.
