my girlfriend and her fiancee want to go down in the first week of april like the 7th for a week
and want to be near a town since they don't drive but also don't want to pay for too many cabs

i tried secret harbour they are BOOKED SOLID for the whole month of april!

i tried bolongo bay it is 195 and point pleasant 195
this would be ok but hopefully they can get better rates and better locations they have never been to st thomas before

i was thinking of gallows? or something near cruz bay? anything on a nice beach or near one

any nice places near C A in st thomas so they can walk to town...

thx

Hi Ginger,
Which island do you want to be on? Secret Harbour, Bolongo Bay and Point Plesant are on St Thomas, and Gallows and "Cruz Bay" are St John. Let us know and we can provide some options.

Hi Ginger,
On St John you might try St John Inn - we had friends stay there and it was very clean, 5 min walk (slow) from town (with all the restaurants and shops), close to starfish market so they could walk and get water, soda's, etc, close to a liqior store 🙂 they would have to get taxi's to any of the beaches, but they are always available and only about $5 per person. Depending on what room they choose, rates start at $140 during "hi" season. Gallows is fabulous and probably my top pick but at that time of year run $455 - $495 per night, more than I think they want to spend. Estate Lindholm would be another choice, even though it is close to town, the walk down the hill is difficult and worse when it is dark and after several "painkillers" so a cab is probably needed. Hope this helps.

Galleon House Hotel on St Thomas is affordable. Less than $100 a night and right downtown next to the government building.
