Hubby and I are planning to spend a week in STT the first week of March but we can't find anything available. We wanted to stay at Secret Harbour but every date we try to secure comes back unavailable. Where else can we look into? We won't have deposit money until the 27th of Jan., that is why we haven't booked yet (income tax check) There has to be someplace comparable to Secret Harbour that we can get into. Any ideas?

If you don't have deposits, you might just need to forget about it until you do. Even if you find a place today, you don't have the ability to hold it.

Do you already have airfare? You might need to be flexible with your timing.

Lady Blue:

We stay at the Point Pleasant Resort, 340-775-7200. Try booking directly. We're there the first week of March, also.

We're staying at Secret Harbor in April and wanted to change our reservations to a day earlier which was still available. We ended up not changing after all so you may want to try for the week of April 1st to the 8th. We called them directly.

If you're looking for a Condo try heading over to Gallows Point in St. John. The ferry from Red Hook takes only 15 minutes. They have a really nice pool and the snorkeling is pretty good. The beach is mainly rocky which we didn't like but it in no way affected our stay. St. John has open air Taxi's (pick-up truck with seats and an awning) that take you to anywhere on the island. Gallows is close to town and a short walk will take you to restaurants and shops.
