Just wondering if anyone has partaken in Heidi's barbecue lately and if so how was it ? Thinking about paying her a visit in a couple of weeks. Thanks in advance,

I have eaten at Heidi's several times recently. We stayed on Water Island 2 weeks over Christmas. The island is spectacular.

Heidi's burgers are great. Her grilled chicken sandwiches are great. Her barbecued ribs are great. She does an excellent job cooking on the beach. She goes the extra mile with side dishes and condiments.

Heidi's Saturday night dinner on Honeymoon Beach is incredible. There is always a fish, chicken and beef entree to choose from. She prefers reservations for Saturday night. She will do a vegetarian entree if asked. The sun sets as she cooks. She sets up tables and lanterns. It is lovely. I highly recommend a visit to Honeymoon beach and lunch or dinner with Heidi.

Heidi is a real asset to Water Island and St Thomas.

You can call Heidi on say.....Thursday.....and ask her what's on the menu for Saturday evening, make your decision, and place your "order"/reservation. (340-690-0325) She starts thinking about her Saturday menu early in the week and then shops usually on Friday, buys all fresh ingredients, for her service on Saturday evening. That's why you really need to make reservations. Though she does make sure she has a few extra ingredients on hand to serve to "walk'ins", she plans it pretty closely based on the reservations/orders.
