Hello island dreamers.....

My wife and I are returning to St. John to celebrate our fifth anniversary of getting hitch barefoot on Hawksnest Beach. I was saddened to see that Duffy's has changed names. Is there still a fun place to hang and have a few "frozen concoctions to help us hang on?"

Thanks for your help.....

Slowly thawing out in the Chi-Town,

Tim

I am in Chicago with my wife and 2 daughters in your home town right now! We're here for the American Girl Place and Magnificent Mile, and have not been disappointed.

Regarding your question: Woody's seems to be the typical replacement for Duffy's. Great crowds, super Happy Hour specials, and general good time reported by all. I'm sure there are other great places to visit, and I'll leave them to those who know from experience. Woody's is one of my favorites for a "few frozen concoctions". Bushwacker is my personal favorite! Have fun!

I was never a fan of Duffy's too touristy for me. I always liked the Beach Bar, Woody,s, and Larry's Landing for a real local experience.

Tim, well done with the two Buffett song references. 🙂
Now if I could only get the songs out of my head. Wait, I don't mind that at all. LOL
We visited Duffy's on St. John a few times but also thought it was ok but we practically live at the one on St. Thomas. Give it a try for your Duffy’s fix.
Congrats on you’re up coming anniversary.
Bill
