Can't seem to find but 1 online review...and it's our first villa rental...after hearing some of the horror stories of run down villas and bug infested villas I'm starting to get a little nervous. Thanks!

To my knowledge there are no such type of villa rentals on Island , almost all places are great and they cater to the guest . Just be happy to be on island and you will be ok

I haven't stayed there personally, but almost rented it a couple years back. It is a beautiful villa and the owner is from the same area of the US as I am.

stjohn4ever,
I've seen several people report ending up at villas where thye've been overcome by huge bugs that run across their pillows at night(thats literally their words, they may be exaggerating who knows) and infested with mice. As you said "almost all" places are great, I'm just really hoping I didnt rent one that wasnt in the almost all category. Pictures can be quite deceiving. I will be quite happy to be on island, but that joy will be quickly diminished if we've paid several thousand dollars to stay in a bug and rodent infested house for a week.

syoung- it looks very beatiful from the pictures and the view is killer. I'm just hoping the pictures aren't deceiving once we get there!
