We might get Paradise Revisited and Inn Paradise since they are close to one another. We need two villas for my wedding or maybe one larger villa. We've looked at Great Expectations if we go for the larger villa. We also like Coral Rays, but I've read other posts about the commute up to the villa. Sounds steep! I'm wondering if two non-offroaders can manage a four wheel vehicle on a steep gravel hill?? Postings on these forums has helped with so many of our questions. Thanks!

Bet, we have not stayed at Coral Rays but we’re familiar with the roads in that area. First-timers usually exclaim something like “Holy &$%#” when they see it, but after a couple of trips they’re fine. The bright side of this is that it limits the casual traffic on the road and makes the house feel that much more private.

Two considerations though worth checking out. If you have several people sharing the house, how many jeeps will you need and is there adequate parking? That’s an issue at some villas that are carved into the hillside. Also, the drives up and down tend to limit your enthusiasm for frequent excursions, especially at night and the prospect of one too many pina coladas in town. We tend to spend most of our evenings in the villa – can’t beat those views – but that may not suit you or your party.

BetBet,

We stayed at Coral Rays this past June. It was a wonderful villa with a beautiful view. Do a search on this message board for "Coral Rays" and you'll find our trip report which talks about the villa. Happy villa hunting!
