Love the island themes - but here's a big HAPPY NEW YEAR wish from the middle of it all - Time Square, Manhattan!

Crowds are amazing - lots of folks arriving for the big event.

The clock is at the top:

The ball was not yet up when I snapped this one. But the "2008" is ready to go:

Empty pole where the ball will go. It looks much larger on TV, right?
