Finally!, We will be back in St John on Friday. We will be staying at Holiday Inn for the first night in St Thomas and were looking for recommendations for Happy Hour and Dinner in that area, usually end up in the same place every year and wanted to get some new ideas, we are married couple, early 40's enjoy a good happy hour and a good meal. Any info would be appreciated!!

IMO every hour in the VI is a happy one!

If you are at the Hoilday Inn-the Green House typically has a Happy Hour....

On St. John, Larry's landing just moved to the old Duffy's.

You can always do Woody's, and find that country singer.

JJs Texas Cafe is ok, and they have Shiner Bock.

Morgan's Mango is good.

I haven't had a truly bad meal in St. John.

You'll be staying within walking distance of Frenchtown and you can choose between anything as casual as Betsy's or as nice as Craig and Sally's. In between you've got Epernay, Tuscan Grill, Hook Line and Sinker, Alexander's Bella Blu, the Deli, the Saddest McDonald's on the face of the planet, and waaaayyyyy down at the end of the road is Oceana. I'm sure I've missed a few places, but you could always walk around a bit and have a drink at each establishment and look at the menus and return to whichever one looks best.
Bon Appetit!

I second the Green House vote....Happy hour every day - 2 for 1 drinks. (or, is this the "usual" place you aforementioned?"

hey, by the way, for anyone that read that former post about Larry's Landing, Larry's Landing is where it was, the bar you were referring to at the former location of duffy's is LIZARD'S LANDING, which is in no way associated with Larry's, which is still located in Wharf side Village.

Good eye. Larry's Landing and Lizard's Landing are two very different kind of places.
