Hi,
I have lived here for about a year and a half and myself and my family love it. The one problem that I have come across is this,
My mother in law who is visiting is very limited in physical activity due to breathing problems, does anyone have any ideas where we can go that is interesting, not a long walk and different. I thought of Tillets and Mountain Top, anyother ideas????
Thanks
Denise
Denise,
There is a company here who specializes in handicapped tours. They have a trolly car which can accomodate wheelchairs, etc. While it doesn't sound that your mom needs this level of care, perhaps they could suggest some low impact excursions. These numbers were given to me last year but try them anyway - Willis Perry was the trolley driver I spoke with and his numbers are 714-1656 and 771-5956. The home office contact was Terr Ondenjcal at 440-237-1253. Hope they can help you. It would be interesting to hear thier suggestions.
Pamela.
Hello,
You might stop at Drakes Seat so she can enjoy the view. You can go to Magens Bay; might go in the afternoon when its cooler and fewer people and drive all the way to the right side as close to the tree line as possiable and she can sit on the bench thats at that end or just take a look. Other attractions like Blackbeards Castle are possibilities if she is interested in just looking at the building and the view... some parts of Coral World (exception being the underwater observatory) are accessable and you can go slow and look around.
