Do you really want to know? It's pretty scarey. Promoguy and RonUSVI have a party at Toat and Tart. It's a great party. The cover charge is a $100 per person. You will have a great time. The entry fee is donated to a very good foundation. Best costume is awarded an additional fund, and donated to another great charity. Please go and tell me who won and send pictures on a trip report.

Just kidding.

I thought it was a good idea. Do islanders celebrate Halloween? It's sort of a big deal for adults on the mainland. It's also a money maker for charities. We went to an ice skating party as two dead heads on a table in a big cardboard box with a table cloth and plates cut around our fake blood necks. We took paint buckets to sit on. We are skaters so that part wasn't a problem. What's the best costume out there?

Skinny's Halloween Costume Party 🙂 (at least there has been in the past - we all assume it will be again this year)

There are usually "parties" around town, Morgans Mango I think has one, but the posters for the events won't go up for a month or so.

Red Hook STT usually has a big party with all the bars joining in and people sporting costumes. The schools usually do something too but because we don't have typically set-out "neighborhoods" here there are almost no door to door "trick or treat" activities.

Joseph Sibilly Elementary School always has a Holloween Party every year with a spook house in STT. I believe Montesorri School does something too, but they don't follow the Holloween theme. We get one set of kids that come to our shack for Tricker Treaters, Jeff's nephews and niece!!!! Would be fun to see more! STT Resident is right, places like Watergate and Mahogany Run only allow children who live there.

Do they still do trick or treating at Mongoose Junction. They did that for the kids every year.

Here's some shots from Halloween at Skinny's last year:

Some folks are in costume, some always look like that.
