Would anyone like to share a half day charter to JVD area Feb 8. We need two more people.

What charter have you booked? I book charters and don't know any that will go to Jost on a half day charter as travel time to and from and clearing Customs both sides leaves little time for limin" - not to mention the cost involved - the difference for a private powerboat charter for a full day vs half day is minimal but the additional hours are priceless 🙂

Thanks Pia,
We are going on the Lion in da Sun. It's from 8:30 to 1:30. I would like to make it a full day but we only have four people and the others think the cost would be too high for the full day. If we can find another couple we will go for the full day. Do you know anyone who coordinates trips like these?

I was but unfortunately I had no way of letting people know that this is a service I offered as it was taken that I was advertising (and I can understand why people thought that even though I found it a service that was needed) when I posted info on the forums so I decided to discontinue this service.

If you haven't, you might consider another day and the public ferry for a half-day trip to JVD. I'm not sure they run on Wednesday, but we've taken the ferry to JVD on several occasions and have always been happy. You'll get a little more time (they leave at 3pm to come back), and will spend significantly less money.

The private charter is great if you want to hit a few spots before JVD (which I HIGHLY recommend if you are snorkelers). If you just want to go to Jost, then you have other options.

Good Luck! Have Fun!

Thank you Pia and VI Lover
I hope we can take the full day. It makes so much more sense.
Too bad that there is no way to coordinate these trips. We come to st john every year as a couple. We would love to see some other interesting spots. We love this place and we have such a great time.
Thanks
