Hi
I was suppose to be in St Thomas, November 13th through the 17th but had to cancel. My husband has to have tests done on the 17th & I had to be there to take him & be with him. So I miss my solo trip this year always next year. And husband comes first though he now owes me big time lol. No big deal rather have hubby around. So to all of those who are going in November & future have a cold one for me & have fun !

Sorry to hear of your cancellation, but it sounds like you have your priorities straight! Which I'm sure your husband appreciates.

Best of luck to you both -- here's hoping you two have "smooth sailing" from here on in. Thoughts and prayers with you!

LOL Chris
Actually I got all my money back. I had separate air with USAIR & I had insurance on just the air and will get that back since it is a medical reason, just need a letter from doctor which is on it way to us & the doctor said he would fax a letter to the insurance provider (who just called & said they
received the doctor's fax and they would refund my money within 2 to 3 weeks.)
The hotel I booked & since I am in the time frame of cancelling I get back the deposit I had to put down.
And you are right time spent with soul mate is priceless with him being Iraq for 6 months so I count myself lucky. Thanks Barb

Thanks Islander
Yes more time to plan for the next trip. Most likely in 2007 as we are taking my son & his wife to Disney, December 2006 & that is going to cost more than two trips to St Thomas. Though I tried talking them into St Thomas. My daughter in law is afraid to fly over water well afraid of flying period but two hours can't hurt her too much since we are paying for it lol.
Now just to get hubby through his test which he will be an outpatient wish he was an in patient lol. Thanks again for the well wishes.
