My husband and I will be shopping for a group of 16 while on St. Thomas in Jan.
Where would we get the best deals, but good quality on the following items:
Produce
Canned goods
Dairy products
Bakery items
Liquor
Thanks for your help!
I have been checking on beer prices and found that Cost-U-Less seems to be a better deal than Al Cohen's who was up to $8 a case higher on some brands. Some prices I have found are actually cheaper than here. A.H. Riise doesn't carry beer. However, A.H. Riise and Al Cohen's seems to be the place to buy liquor since there are coupons in the "Places to Explore" book.
Can anyone tell me if there's really a difference between the Havensight and the downtown locations? Which one would be easier to get to (parking/congestion) with a car?
Also, can anyone who lives on St. Thomas help me with logistical info., please? We will be taking the ferry from STJ to CA and then to Thrifty to pick up our rental car. We will then need to go to Dynasty Dazzlers and/or AH Riise. After which, we plan to go to Cost-U-Less to buy groceries/produce/beer for the group and then meet them at the Avis rental car factility at the airport. After that, we will go directly to the car ferry at Red Hook.
Thanks again for your help and info.
